I've also worked as a medical biller for about 25 years, with a focus on behavioral health. As a biller, I am responsible for maintaining patient records and ensuring their accuracy and completeness. I go through the files to find the correct billing codes and costs. As a medical biller, I also handle all claims, which is an important element of my job. I collaborate closely with insurance providers to submit and determine patient liabilities.
